Milan Tournament 2009 - "Winter"
14-15 November 2009

Oyez! Oyez! The “Condottieri” are organising
the DBMM tournament and the FOG tournament!

On 14th-15th November 2009 the Milan "Winter" 2009 DBMM and FOG tournaments will be held at the Ludoteca "La Casa dei Giochi" on the 14th-15th November. Watch out! This is a new location!!

DBMM Tournament will be on First and Second Period. Armies must be under 400 AP, and we will use the Official Clarifications 1.4 March 2009 and Italian DBMM Championship rules(here, in Italian - soon in English). We also will use the time of the day and the weather. We will keep 15 tables (30 players) reserved for the DBMM tournament until 31st October.

The FOG Tournament will be on the period between 1000 AD to 1450 DC, covering the four medieval lists already published (Oath of Fealthy - Sword and Scimitars - Eternal Empire-Storm of Arrows). The list must be under 800 AP. We will keep 15 tables (30 players) reserved for the FOG tournament until 31st October.

When? The tournament will be held on the 14th-15th November 2009. Independently of which tournament you will enroll in, you must send an entry to the organiser Paolo Paglianti (milan.tournament@gmail.com or paolo.paglianti@tele2.it) before the 31th October 2009.

Only entries sent to these two emails will be considered valid.

It's really important to send entries to the organizer, since there are a limited number of tables for each tournament, until 31st October. After that limit, the places will be assigned on a "first come, first served" basis".

DBMM Lists must be sent by the 7th November to the email milan.dbmm@gmail.com.
The Umpire will be Lorenzo Mele.

FOG Lists must be sent by the 7th November to the email milan.fog@gmail.com.
The Umpire will be Guglielmo Marlia.

Where? The tournaments will be played in a new location which is very close to the old site we have used in recent years! The address is: Ludoteca "La Casa dei Giochi", Via Sant'Uguzzone, 8, Milan. Please, note that in order to play the tournaments, you will have to subscribe to the local association: "Alleanza Sportiva Italiana".

How much will it cost? 25 Euros for foreign players, FIW members, and under-18s, 30 Euros the others and latecomers. The price includes entry to the tournament, the prizes and some gadgets to be yet decided on.

Should I hurry? Due to organization issues, we need to receive all entries by the 31st October 2009, independently from the Tournament you wish to play. You can send the army lists by the 7th November. Latecomers in sending their entries will pay more, and may not receive any gadgets. Latecomers in submitting the lists, will have their list printed and shown to anyone. This is a decision of the organisation, not of the single Umpire.

Who should I contact? For entry please send an E-mail to Paolo Paglianti (milan.tournament@gmail.com or paolo.paglianti@tele2.it) by the 31st October 2009.
For the Army Lists, you need to send them by the 7th November to these email addresses:

- DBMM Tournament->
milan.DBMM@gmail.com.

- FOG Tournament-> milan.fog@gmail.com.

You will find all the necessary information and the latest updates on the site
http://www.fiw.it/milano2009/

When shall we meet? For DBMM, the first game starts at 11:00 am. We ask that everyone be at the Ludoteca at 10.25 am; FOG starts at 10:00, registration begins at 9:30. On Sunday we will start at 8:30am and we hope to have finished by 6.30 pm.

What can I win? Apart form our everlasting gratitude, there will be cups, one painted DBA army for each Tournament winner, and some more prizes yet to be defined. There will also be two DBA armies supplied by Legio Heroica!
